Meetings of the Hawaii Invasive Species Council are mandated to occur no less frequently than twice each year. All HISC and HISC working group meetings are open to the public and are advertised at least one week prior on the State of Hawaii calendar.
HISC working groups
There are five working groups to advise the Hawaii Invasive Species Council. The groups were created to establish a flexible structure for interaction among Council members and cooperating partners. Their actions build upon past work done in Hawaii, and are consistent with other regional and national efforts. The working groups address major areas of concern:
