Hawaii residents are urged to use the Pest Hotline to promptly report sightings of invasive pests such as snakes, unusually aggressive stinging ants, and illegal or unknown animals. Call 643-PEST (643-7378).
The Maui Invasive Species Committee (MISC) is a partnership fighting to protect Maui County from the most harmful invasive plants and animals that threaten our environment, economy, and quality of life.
MISC works to prevent invasive species from becoming established within Maui County (Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Kahoolawe), controls invasive species on private and public property, and educates people about invasive species and how to protect Maui County.
